First of all I know i am pretty picky and I don't want to sacrifice much from this build but i need to get it down to $1500. Things i dont want to sacrifice from this list are the CPU Cooler, MOBO, RAM, Case, and wireless adapter. IF POSSIBLE keep the video card and CPU. Also I'm trying to stick to the red/black theme.

A couple of other things to consider...I have a copy of WIN 7 I could use to save money but I know WIN 8 would take advantage of Direct X 11 for gaming so I would love yall's thoughts on that. I could also save on a display buy using a Samsung 22" HDTV I have laying around which from most gamers you'd hear don't use a HDTV for gaimng so I would also like to know what yall think about that as well. So those two things could save a lot of cash but would I disappointed in the performance and looks of it? Also I realize it would be easy to just choose more cheaper parts but that's why i need you guys' help to get this build down to $1500 without sacrificing performance/quality as best as possible. Thanks in advance!

You can shave at least 100 bucks by going with an i5. Is there no way you can hardwire the network connection. It's better for gaming and would save you another 97 dollars. The SSD is nice, but you can save another $100 by going with a WD blue or black 500GB - 1TB drive. That will get you up and running then drop an SSD in when you save up some more cash.

Most of the things you want to keep are unnecessary..

I7 can be changed to an I5, UNLESS you plan to do a whole bunch of video editing.
Motherboard can be changed to a cheaper one.
Wireless Adapter is overkill unless you have Google Fiber.
Well, the case can also be changed... but that's personal.

I definitely see where you're going and i like the suggestions. Can you please advise more specifically which i5 you'd choose? And unfortunately the wireless card is a necessity due to the way my house is wired and where my office is...it's so limited the modem an router are in my kid's room  Ive also updated my post with a couple of things since your answer...could you take another look at? Thanks for the suggestions!

You can also look at a 750w PSU. That should save you a few dollars.

Maximus VII hero motherboard is a great board but may be overkill.

A GTX 760 for $270? Get an i5 and spend $60 more on a 970 instead. Will be much a better value in the long run.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is a great cooler for $30. That will save you $40 and it can still handle a Devil's Canyon i5 with a decent overclock.

Wireless adapter is overkill. I have a livingroom PC for movies/gaming at 50-100mbps with this:

Paired with my buffalo router I have had precisely ZERO ( 0 ) lag/disconnect issues in the past year due to my wireless. It is 2 rooms away going with signal going through 1 wall and 1 door.
