Micro-ATX all-round build with a +-400 euro budget

hey,
I am not sure which components to pick for my custom build desktop. The desktop will be used for Programming, gaming (DOTA2). The format has to be Micro ATX, and the case should to be minimalist design preferably. I wont be needing a HDD,OS,optical drive. I was thinking of getting these parts,
CPU: Intel G3258 I am not sure the cpu will be powerfull enough? Maybe the AMD 6300fx is better?
GPU: ATI 260X
CASE: Fractal core 1000
For the rest of parts I don't really have a clue what to pick.

The pentium is fine with the other parts selected but the FX will be a better multitasker.

I would go a little over the 400 mark and get a better CPU.

I looked around, and came up with another alternative based on the AMD X4 860k CPU. I think this might be a better choice then the G3258 in multitasking applications?

Looking at all the posted builds the I3 build is the best followed by the 860K and then the pentium. Building on the Athlon means no future CPU upgrades while either of the Intel builds could go up to I5 or I7 for more powerful CPU's.

Well according to PassMark (link) the x4 860k outperforms the i3, and it unlocked compared to the i3.

Passmark is not good comparison, too single sided, I did not have the correct CPU's but the 7850K is as close to the 860K I could get and same gen I3 http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1200?vs=1192
