Chrome: open new tab with mouse

Hi All,

Got another one that has me baffled. I used to have an extension from the Chrome Toolbox that allowed me to right-click on a link, left-click on open in a new tab and it would appear in the foreground. Chasing down some adware lost that and now the Toolbox is obsolete. Now the tab opens in the back ground and it takes an extra click to display the page.

I did find a page that shows how to open a new tab in the foreground but it was a combination of three keys on the keyboard. I'm not sure who thinks that is faster than three clicks but that's as far as I've gotten. Clicking the scroll wheel on a link opens a new tab in the background but then I have to roll the mouse up to the tab and click it anyway.

It seems trivial but when I'm trying to navigate through LinkedIn or something else where I have to keep the central browser window where it is and open a lot of links from it gets old.

Has anyone got a good way to open a new tab quickly without having to take your hand from the mouse to the keyboard and back? Thanks, sh

well if your mouse has a wheel on it then click the mouse wheel on the link and you should see a link open up in a separate tab
