Gigabyte 970A DS3 Rev 1.1 compatible to FX8350?

Hi guys,

I just updated the bios to F7 but i'm still wondering if the Gigabyte 970A DS3 Rev 1.1 is able to support the FX8350?

The list on the Gigabyte page is not updated for the newer bios versions and my google research showed different opinions on this topic.

Thanks in advance for any advice .

I assume this list is not up 2 date - there are some 125W CPU's in it so where is the difference to the FX8350?

125W 8 cores aren't supported.

He states it's not supported , why would you buy a board that doesn't support it.

The point is not to buy it but use it for this cpu because I have both parts available.

It may or may not run , even if it does it won't be stable.
