Hello,
I have got Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH motherboard, it says in its manual that is supports "2 DDR II DIM memory slots (supports up to 2 GB memory)". my question is: I know that 945GZ chipset supports up to 4 GB memory, can I install 4 GB RAM in my motherboard? does one DIMM slot supports a single 2 GB RAM or only 1 GB?
Any help would be gratly appreciated.
Thank you.

Solution
Specs:
2 DDR II DIMM memory slots (supports up to 4GB memory)
Supports 1.8V DDR II DIMM
Supports dual channel DDR II 533/400 DIMM

So by this if you were to get 2, 2 gb DDR II Dimm memory that runs at 533/400 and 1.8 v it should work fine. I would NOT do 1 4gb, mainly because i'm not showing that it is an option as you can't do 8gigs, so it looks like 1 x 4gb won't work.
