My PC keeps crashing. Blue screens, and programs crashing constantly. i cant for the life of me figure out what the problem is and its incredibly frustrating. I consider myself to be knowledgeable about computers and pretty handy over all but this one has me stumped. this issue started about a week ago and i have tried everything from virus scans to a complete reformatting of my hard drive. i just cant figure out the issue. I have run mem diagnostics and my ram seems to be fine. re-installed and updated drivers, everything. if anyone could help me i would be eternally grateful. let me know if there is any specific info i can provide that will be of assistance. the machine is two years old, i built it myself. samsung SSD, evga 660ti GPU, intel i5 processor, running on windows 7 home edition.

Solution
Update your Logitech Gamepanel drivers. From the Logitech site. Theyre old / from 2009 and these can cause this stop error

Spybot may also be causing this stop error. Uninstall it

Carefully, and using anti-static precautiuons, remove and reseat the gpu, ram. cpu cooler (you should repaste it at this point), and then remove and reseat all the PSU Connectors. fwiw - I typically remove the gpu and cpu cooler when shipping a unit and send them separately. Reset the bios to factory failsafe setting and then go back in and make sure the sata ports and ram timings&voltages are set correctly. You don't want any overclocks until you've stabilized the system. Disable anything you dont use like serial & parallel ports too.

If you feel confident you can remove and reseat the CPU also. If you do check for any bent socket pins before you reseat it. I dont normally remove the cpu until thats about the last thing to check.

Let us know what the blue screen error is.

Unfortunately the ssd is moving too fast for me to get a look at what the error code is on the blue screen >.< is there a way to check that once the machine is up and running? All the bios are factory set. I don't over clock either, I will try to reseat everything and get back to you as soon as I do

Okay I just reassembled the tower, going to attempt to play another game and see if it crashes. Also the blue screens are very intermittent so I will take your advice and turn off the auto restart.

As for the minidump files, should I just paste them here or do you have a recommended website that I upload them to?

okay. i updated the logitech drivers & uninstalled spybot. the only thing is the crashing started before i installed spybot (thought it may have been malware) & i never had issues with the logitech drivers in the past. Also i reformatted my SSD when the issue started and am still having the issue post formatting. any other tips? im trying to reproduce the crash right now. will keep you posted
