Secondary hard drive doesn't run games?

I've successfully installed my game to E:\Program Files (x86)\Xplosiv\Equestrian Challenge
The game will go through the loading credits then start loading and crash to the desktop.
Never used a secondary hard drive before but new pc has only 111GB on C: (with about 9 left) but 931 on E: so definately going to need it!

There should be no problem playing games that are installed on a secondary drive as long as the drive does not have any issues. I would also advise you to reinstall the game. It will be also a good idea to install another game on the drive and see whether it will work. If other games can load on the drive though, you may run a brand specific testing software in order to check out the HDD's health status.
