I recently upgrade my GPU, CPU and Mobo... GPU to a Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card with Boost, CPU to a AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (4.0/4.2GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W and MOBO to a Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard (Socket AM3+, Up to 16GB DDR3, USB 3.0, uATX). I had some errors to begin with as i have never updated or done a system build before but eventually managed to get it all working(apart from front panel audio) and my computer is working etc. but my mobo is using onboard graphics instead of the GPU. I have checked the GPU and the fans are spinning so it must be powered and I have gone into BIOS and made sure PCI-E is above the Onboard graphics but it still won't work when I plug the cables into the GPU from the monitior. The monitor only shows when plugged into the mobo vga. Has anyone got any idea to why this is and if they could help me it would be great... until then I can't play video games as the onboard gpu isn't as good.

Yes it is, there were two provided in the box but as there was already one coming from my psu i just used that one so the fans are working on the GPU but it still isn't recognised by the mobo
