I have 300Mbps but it only loads at 9.88Mbps. How do i make it to at least 25Mbps? For gaming. My friend has the same router and 300Mbps Cap. He gets 25Mbps Downloading speed. He is wired like me. He playing bo2 and he loads in a game in 10-30 seconds it takes me 1:30 minutes and we have the same hardware. I just updated mine. I have a TP Link v9 latest firmware.

Help! How do i make mine go up to 25Mps.

You dont understand how mbps work. First is your 300mbps an upload or download speed. Second your friends may be faster because of his provider or the location of his providers tower. Third are you paying for 300 and you only want 25? That makes no sense..... Just because your router said it could handle 300 doesnt mean you get that. you get whatever you pay for. Example if you pay for 5mbps your router will only give you 5mbps

The primary consideration is - what do you pay your ISP for?

If you have a "300Mbps router" that is merely the theoretical WiFi speed between your PC and the router. Has nothing to do with your connection to the outside world.

Is this wired or WiFi?
Where are you testing this speed?
