I've tried all the options. I tried to restore back before the update but i get errors every time.

Also when i plugged it in for the first time and it ran the motherboard boot process thing, I didn't have a keyboard plugged in at the time and it have an error around the lines of "Keyboard not plugged in - Checksum error press f1 to skip" So i plugged a keyboard in and pressed f1. Could this be the cause of the problems?

If you used an old hdd, and put it in another system without doing a clean install.

This can happen if the old hdd used IDE mode and the new one is on AHCI in the BIOS

That 0x0000007b stop is usually sata driver related. Because it doesnt have SATA drivers it cant detect the SATA hdd. It'll crash

Only way to fix it is to turn AHCI off if the option is there. Or do a clean install with AHCI on. If you want to use AHCI

But if you install windows (if AHCI is off / disabled), you CANT enable it again after windows has been installed

You'll get the same stop error

I get the option to either choose "Raid" "IDE" "AHCI" in the menu. Is there a way to check which type your motherboard uses?
