Hi Everyone, First time posting on this forum, been Googling with no results.
So the situation is when one computer on my network starts to download it starts to slow the bandwidth down of the rest of the network. That would be the more general situation, but to be specific. I am a gamer I play League Of Legends in the servers with 68 ping, but when my parents start to stream stuff over this "TVpad" which is a Chinese version of the AppleTV, I begin to experience twice the ping i normally get and sometimes I get all the way up to 300-500 ping.
That just one scenario, another one would be that say for instance my brother is downloading something, usually torrent, I experience a drop in bandwidth, so much that I cannot watch Youtube or Netflix.
My ISP is Comcast and I've been using Speedtest.net to test my bandwidth which is 10-11 ping and at 60+Mbps. But when the streaming/downloading begins, it's all over the place.
I don't think this is normal, is it my network settings?
