I get random black screens for a few seconds and then it goes away.

My screen goes black at random times for a few seconds and then it goes away. I've already tried switching graphics cards.
I am running
R9 290
i5 3500k
16gb of corsair vengeance
asus maximus extreme 4 or 5 motherboard
samsung pro ssd

I'm having the same problem. It goes black randomly for a few seconds but you can still hear sounds. Then it comes back like nothing happens. It gets frustrating when you play a game and die because of it. I made a thread about this earlier and someone said it could be either the HDD or the SSD. Any insight on this? Thanks
