Hello!

I am very worried about my fps. I recently got a new mother board, cpu, and gpu. My privious was an msi ATX DDR 2400 a88x g45 with an AMD a series (cant remember which one but if necessary i can find out) i could play borderlands the pre sequal at 40fps max settings and sometimes 60fps. I then plugged in my new graphics card just to see how it worked. It was able to go up to 140fps but would randomly have fps drops (not my problem just saying)

Then my new ASUS M5A99FX came in with my AMD fx8350 8 core
Im stuck at 60fps and again randomly dropping but not as much,

So my questions is if this is normal and i just was stupid on buying this set up?... or maybe this can be fixed?? please respond and thank you!

If your fps is sticking right at 60 fps, you likely have Vsync enabled either in-game or in your GPU settings. Vsync will force a frame rate to match the hertz of your monitor (60 hz). Disable vsync and you should see your fps soar

My cpu usage was was not high, and i dont know about my temperatures in game or gpu usage. I must be going to bed now as it is late where i am. I will be on the forums in the morning and i will most likely be calling nvidia support.
