Just bought a Cooler Master Seidon 120V and a corsair SPEC-1 case I currently have a FX6300 but was thinking about the FX8370E would the Seidon be good enough to keep it cool?

Solution
Folks at XS are getting some great clocks on the 8370E --- 8320E, too.

I think your cooler will be "adequate" --- up to snuff with good aftermarket air, but if you are wanting 5GHz a 240mm would be the ticket.

I think that's how the "top" of your case is designed ...

Cheers going for the 8320E save some pennies lol

Dang ... I hate to hear that.

I've been eye-ballin' that case because of the 2 x 120mm 'offset' space at the top -- it looked perfect for a big ol' radiator. I'm not worried about space for an optical drive (or, it looks like the top 5.25 bay could be used for an SSD with the bottom for the DVD if required).

You can fit one one the front if you remove HDD trays ;)
