My i5 2500k used to hold 4.7 ghz easy with stress tests. I have a noctua cooler, so temps shouldn't really be an issue. However, now it can't hold an overclock for even video games or rendering video. It didn't have this problem before. Is it time to throw in the towel for my cpu and get a new one? or do you think the issue lies somewhere else?
