So I'm looking to overclock my CPU, problem is that I have no experience and do not want to mess up my pc. This is where you guys come in 
Specs:
Corsair Carbide Spec Series - 01
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD
Samsung Super Writemaster
Cooler master fan
Corsair 500w psu
Radeon sapphire hd 7770
Amd fx6300 black edition (currently on 3.5 by default)
ARTIC freezer 13 limited edition
Corsair 8gb ram
I think that it can be overclocked from the bios but I have no idea what to type in for each value so if you know how to overclock it without it breaking please inform me, thanks
I would like to achieve at least a 4.0+ if that's possible
