Hi folks,
I built my new pc a couple weeks ago and under normal use( gaming, internet videos, movies etc...) runs great with everything in BIOS at DEFAULT.
I planned to OC so i ran stress test before doing anything to see temps and stability at default settings but everytime i run prime95 small ftt or aida64 FPUs it BSODs in less than 5 min(sometimes in 1 min) and says "whea uncorrectable error" i googled it and in many posts people say that its because of excessive temps or vcore, but i checked those with cpu-z and hwmonitor and CPU temps max at 64-70ºC with 1.21V at 4.2ghz 100% load on aida with no throttling. Iddles at 25-30ºC, temps look ok to me but im sure people around here know more than i do.

BIOS its updated and everything on its default settings
System specs:
asrock z97x killer
i7 4790k
2x8gb corsair vengeance pro 1866 (but set at 1333 on bios by default)
gigabyte gtx970 g1
corsair H110
samsung 840 evo 250gb
seagate barracuda 7200 2tb
super flower leadex gold 850w
win 8.1

any thoughts on the error??? are temps ok??? thanks in andvance.

I know that, thats why i said everything in bios is at stock, so its not an OC problem and im not using any software in windows to OC, as i said temps never exceed 70ºC at full load during prime95/Aida64 so i think we can rule out overheating, right?
for now only happens with torture test programs, but im worried that in the future if i use software that relies on the CPU and pushes it to high loads it will happen all the time, or the day i want to OC it starts to bsod all the time.

anyways thanks for the answer, any other ideas???

edit: you think its a faulty component??? how do i check that???

never went over 70º celsius so it shouldnt be overheating, to rule out that my pc simply does not like p95/aida64 stress test, wich real world programs use a LOT of cpu???? like a real world stress test instead of synthetic ones.

I tried IBT max mode, i tried with other ram sticks, I tried opening the case and manually setting every fan to 100% speed and although it was almost 10ºC lower(62ºC max temp) it still keeps BSODing.

Please help im out of ideas
