i have a windows 8 (not 8.1) Samsung laptop with a 3rd gen i7 with intel hd 4000 and i also have radeon 8600/8700m graphics built in but for some reason i cannot activate my Radeon graphics anymore so now all of my games are running on lower graphics i used to run skyrim on ultra now i have to run it on medium. i have set up the switchable graphics settings to maximize performance whenever i try to pick the graphics settings the only one that shows up is the intel 4000 please help i want to game like i used to with beautiful quality :( i am up for any suggestions but if bios related please inform me on how to get to the bios for Samsung laptops as well lol

I had an HP with switchable graphics but i set it to use High Performance Graphics only. So if you don't mind manually switching all the time to disable switching or don't care about battery life that could be an easy fix. Otherwise the only thing i can think of is, is that theres probably something wrong with the AMD drivers. Try rolling back to a previous version and seeing if it can switch automatically.
