I doesnt seem to happen all the time only when ive been using it alot. example is last night it was doing it all the time. after taking it apart and cleaning the shit out of it it was still doing it i ran a virus scan and when to bed. when i got up i detelted the virus. than went on to play planet side two, which last night caused it to whistle and freeze up almost right away. but i was able to play normally for like two or 3 hrs before it started to do it again. could it be my cpu or is it the hd. any helo would be awesome.
HD is making a High Pitch Whisling sound than freezes for a min or so.

Hi there ajblue90,
I would suggest you to start the troubleshooting with backing up the important data that is on the drive.
After that you can just run a brand specific testing software and see what is the health status of the drive. Switching cables and ports wont hurt also.
This is most probably a HDD problem, not a PSU one.
