how much wattage does your psu have? my advise would be to upgrade your whole pc, but for the gpu only, then i would advise the nvidia geforce 750 or 750 ti, the non ti is 130$ and the ti version is 155$. what are you gonna do with your pc, gaming, yes? which games, give us some details:)

i wouldn't go lower than a AMD r7 250 (the 1GB GDDR5 version) for about 80$ or a nvidia gt 740 (also the 1GB GDDR5 version) for about 90$ personally, the amd card is cheaper and they perform similar in most cases. you aren't going to get it free lol
if you want to upgrade your pc, what would the budget be?
if you can increase your budget even with 20 or 30 dollar, you can get a much better card, so if you cant spend more, dont, but if you can, do it, you will get so much more for your money.
