Hi guys, I am going to college and I will need a laptop, but I can't decide which one should I buy.

I know MSI have better specs, but is the quality ok? I am not familiar with that brand at all
Are they too much for computing and IT courses ?

I would get the Alienware and instead of the 32 gb ram I would go with the 256 GB SSD either MSATA or SATA along with the 1 TB HD. The 80 GB SSD is for caching. If you do that the specs are about equal except the MSI has the new released 980 and the AW has the 880. AW will have the 980 soon if you can wait.

I recently bought the AW 18 with the Intel 4810MQ, 16 ram, 256 SSD & 1 TB hd, SLI graphics Nvidia GTX860.
