As the title suggests I have an issue where my BIOS hangs for about 1-2 minutes, keyboard commands are unresponsive during this so I am unable to actually access the BIOS. When I finally boot occasionally I receive a black screen followed by a message stating my display driver had become unresponsive so windows terminated it then restarted it.
I have tried a few different options, taking each stick of ram out individually, unplugging my old HDD then resetting the CMOS to try and determine the problem.
As i was unable to access BIOS to change some settings for my SSD when i reset the CMOS I thought I had bricked my pc as I was now unable to boot, it would hang at BIOS then give a black screen.
This is when I took my gfx card out. This fixed the BIOS problem, no more hanging and i was able to access the settings.
This leads me to believe either my gfx card, psu, mobo or possibly BIOS is faulty.
Is there any other tests you suggest I do to narrow the results further.
