Last year, I finally decided to build my dream PC. I had some problems initially with a pair of dead mobos, and had a diagnostic run, just to relieve my paranoia that I might be doing something wrong. The guys I talked to diagnosed my 2nd mobo in a row dead, and offered to order a new one and install it. They gave me a good deal, so I took it and the PC ran perfectly for about a year and a half, with one caveat... One of my video cards always seemed to run in idle. I shrugged it off as maybe it was running in some sort of standby mode. The PC ran most games fine, so I didn't give it much thought.

Cut to last month: I decide to replace my video cards (2x 2GB 560ti) in preparation for Far Cry 4 and GTAV. I learn that the mobo that was ordered for me is not actually SLI compatible. Super.

The place I went to was cool enough. They offered free installation on any mobo I brought in. Not too bad. My one concern is my main HD is actually 2x 1TB sata set up in RAID 0. I'm reluctant to reinstall everything. Fortunately, I somehow manage to find a new board utilizing basically the same bios, and everything fires up and runs fine. Since I was going from and ASUS board to an Asrock, it felt like kicking a field goal from the next town over, but I digress.

I noticed last night that some of my games (the more graphically intense ones like BF4 and Crysis 3) are experiencing intermittent freezes or pauses. It happens maybe once every 20-25 seconds. It lasts about a second and then everything goes back to sailing along at 60FPS. It's weird. I'm not overclocking at all. (Check the specs, I shouldn't need to.)

I did notice that my RAM voltages were set a little low following the mobo swap, but setting them correctly hasn't fixed the issue. Nothing seems to be overheating. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

AND... as I'm kinda new, I realize now that I posted this in Overclocking. Sorry about that. I've reposted it in Graphics and Displays. I'll remove it if necessary, but any help would still be appreciated. Thanks again.
