I'm looking for really cheap drives to use for SQL Server transaction log files. (Sequential writes)

The seagate sv 35.6 ST1000VX000 is marketed for write intensive use and has a MTBF of 1 million hours.

Is this a reliable drive for my purpose? I'm thinking of 2 x RAID-1 and dedicated for the sql server transaction log files.

Thanks!
