single vs dual channel

i wanna buy a 8gb 1600 ram
but got confused about single/dual with the same latency(cl9)
which should i buy?

Buy 2x4gb ram sticks, dual channel means you are using two ram sticks which gives better performance than one 8gb stick in single channel. CL9 is a good latency the lower the better.

Dual channel is always recommended unless you plan on buying another single 8GB RAM stick in the very-near future.
