Hi, as we all know, everyday we are going further into high end processors and video cards, and I was thinking of upgrading, reasons? because of new games, AC: Unity, Far Cry 4 The Witcher 3 etc. and I pre ordered the AC: Unity, and I know that my system can play the game, but not in ultra settings, I have and i5 4670K and a GTX 760, I know its enough but I would like to upgrade, but not both on the same time, I was thinking of upgrading my processor to i7 4790K and my video card to STRIX GTX970 DirectCU II OC GeForce GTX 970 4GB, I can't afford both on the same time and thinking on upgrading it one by one, what should I upgrade first? and if you guys have any recommendations on the proc and vcard it would be awesome.

Sorry. No. His current CPU is already great for gaming. Upgrading a GTX 760 to a GTX 970 will provide a significant boost to gaming performance. And his CPU will not bottleneck a GTX 970.

I say Upgrade your Video Card since it's the most important thing in a build, always put more money on your video card.

1. Does your build have a colour scheme? if yes what is it?

2. Having a better GPU helps with video rendering and gaming which is what you are probably looking for.

3. Your CPU is already powerful and is amazing.

4. What is your budget so it is easier for us to help you.

5. Use http://pcpartpicker.com/ so everyone that passes this thread could also easily help you.

P.S Just sayin

Another 'vote' for upgrading the graphics, good as it still is the GTX760 is in a much lower class of performance, I've recently upgraded from a HD7950 (very similar performance to the GTX760) to a GTX970 and the difference is night and day-really, it's that big a move.

LOL. I apologize didn't even realize what I wrote. I meant to say to upgrade the GPU and maybe then the CPU if he wanted to.
Thanks for the correction Joseph.
