Hi

A hard drive can be partitioned to have from 1 to 4 primary partitions
( or at least with mbr partitioning)
You will not succeed in having two or more windows in same partition unless you install a virtual machine then windows into that virtual machine

Microsoft makes their 2007 VM available for free and you then install what ever os which is compatible .
with windows 7 pro and ultimate they give a licenced XP virtual disk for free

There are a number of other virtual machines available for free

If installing 2 windows on 2 partitions install oldest first
Eg XP then 7 or 7 then 8
XP breaks restore points on latter windows unless the windows drive is hidden from win XP
So 3 partitions is a good idea .
W XP , W 7 , data
