Best time to buy all components for a PC & best website for christmas deals (UK)

Hi guys, I wanted to know when the best time would be to buy components for a PC. Before, during or after christmas. It is going to be my first build and I want it to be regularly big. My birthday is a month after christmas so I could always wait until then anyway.

Also, I would like to know of any websites with decent deals for components around this time of year and in January too.

If you want to get quality components then there really isn't a best time to buy. I know that time of year is fast approaching and there's going to be a lot of talk about what store has what part for what price, but the simple fact is that the big ticket items are the ones that are almost never heavily discounted on Black Friday / Cyber Monday. What does get discounted is the high inventory, low yield stuff that the stores won't be able to move the rest of the year. If you want a quality system that will last, then there is no "right time to buy". If you want a cheap system with low quality parts (which is usually not advisable) then go for it on Black Friday.
