Hello.
I transferred photos from my P-3000 photo viewer to my external hard drive.
Now I want to see them on my laptop, but they are saying Temporary Burn Folder- CCH files.
what is that, and I see no pictures.any assisitance would be much appreciated.

Usually a camera will save the files in a JPG format or RAW/TIFF format - both of which can be read by most photo programs. I haven't come across any camera that would save in the CCH format....if the files have been removed from your Epson device....they are probably gone....

I have jsut located the manual for the photo viewer, and it states "although your computer may recognize the viewer as a removable drive,it is best to transfer files using the Epson Link2 software" wish I'd read that before..as I do not have that software downloaded on my laptop.
Have I screwed up the photos now in my external hard drive?

I think I have to agree with you ronintexas, thankfully these photos were sent to other family members, so all is not lost- I just wanted to empty the photo viewer.
I am angry , but all is not lost..thankyou for your response to my question, much appreciated.
