Almost two weeks ago my Email stopped coming on Outlook 2010. I couldn't send either. In desperation I opened Outlook.com to find my Email and respond to it. Very primitive. Don't ask me how but I found a way to send on Outlook 2010 but I've tried everything and still can't receive. Microsoft's "help" is no help as usual. Maybe you all can tell me if something's missing from Account Settings.
Under the Email tab it says Name: kountryking, Type: MAPI (send from this account by default).
Under Data Files are two entries, Name: kountryking Location: unavailable, and Name: Outlook Data File Location: C:\users\kountryking\Documents\Outlook Files\Outlook.pst. The latter is checked as the Default. If I make "kountryking" the default, I cannot send or receive.
I have tried Outlook's repair function but nothing changed. Please help me if you can.

Hi
Just noticed this in your initial post:
"Under Data Files are two entries, Name: kountryking Location: unavailable,"
This tells me that your data file called kountryking cannot be found (hence unavailable).
So what is happening is that your system cannot find the file location for the file called kountryking, but it is able to open the file called Outlook Data File.
You will have to search your system for your kountryking data file (maybe called kountryking.pst?) and tell your outlook where to find it.
Perhaps you had it stored on a drive that is no longer accessible by your system?

Last week it "miraculously" came back in stages. It appears to me that Microsoft has been working on Outlook. Or maybe it's just my laptop telling me it's getting old. The font is different and so is the appearance of the inbox. It also opens to Outlook Data Files (for which I have no use and nothing is in the laundry list of folders) rather than to kountryking Inbox. I can't seem to get around this.
