Is 500W PSU enough for Asus nVidia GF GTX 970 STRIX?

Im planning to upgrade to that.
Based on nVidia's information, the basic GTX970 uses less power than my current vga, GTX 560 SE.

But how is it with that STRIX one? is my 500W enough?

Rest of my PC:

i5-3570
8GB RAM
1,5TB HDD

And im planning to get a SSD later after the GPU upgrade.
I have no intent to ovlerclock.

This a pre-built computer. It sucks i know. I had to chose that for reasons.
The PSU is 500W that is 100% sure.

And i "cant" check it, because if i open the case i void warranty. There is still 1 year left.
That's something im willing to do if i have the card though. (yeah i know this may sounds stupid)

I could buy a new PSU around spring. Would the current one be enough until that in case i have some average/cheap one?
