I have bricked my Samsung Laptop np-rf 711 s02us after doing a BIOS firmware auto update on it.


- it restarted and the screen is blank but power is on.
- cannot go into setting to change it default after pressing f2 for bios settings or f4 for recovery
- I tried taking the battery out for 2 minutes for the c mos and start it up again
- wiped the hdd and the recovery it not available on the it

how do I recover the bios, please help me

I do not recommend disassembling the laptop to remove the BIOS chip, unless you are experienced in doing so....many sensitive connectors....and the BIOS may be soldered to the mobo.....so the easiest way is to send it in.
You need an EEPROM programming device (some call it a burner). They are quite expensive, plus you have to have the code to burn the BIOS into the chip. Given the expense, and the knowledge of which program(s) to load on the chip, almost everyone has ditched the effort to have anything like this done locally.
