I want to plug my headphones directly into the soundcard using the 3.5mm adapter that came with them (I just got them today!! They're so comfortable and light!), I would also like to plug my speakers into the soundcard, but I can't get them to work in any of the ports except the "Headphone" port

Problem - I can't find anywhere else to plug my speakers in where they'll actually work. I have tested everything in "Sound" while switching the plug from port to port... I just don't understand

I'd appreciate any advice you guys could offer, I've never really tried to configure multiple output devices before

Here's my equipment -
Operating System - Windows 7 home premium 64-bit, v 6.1

Motherboard - Gigabyte something, I can't remember, got it with my i5-3570k

Sound card - Soundblaster Recon3d

Speakers - Logitech Z-130 (2 small, cheap desk speakers)

Headphones - Sennheiser HD558

Monitor - Samsung something, I'll flip stuff if you guys actually want models for this or mobo

Well you cant if both use the same output. Unless the speakers have a 3.5mm then you can plug the headphones into that

If it was onboard the Audio drivers / software for some of them, will let you use back and front ports at the same time

Does that mean I can't play both through the soundcard? I guess that was kind of my unexpressed desire
