I had to change my internal IP home network away from the standard 192.168.1.1. It is now 192.168.50.1. Everything on the network has been addressed and now all of the DHCP users are connecting.

But my HP printer has a default internal IP of 192.168.1.2. I cannot see it in a browser nor can I install it wireless. I am assuming because of the new network IP change.

Can you change the internal IP default address in a HP printer so it can be seen by the new router settings? Or can I manually install from the MAC address.? Or is there another way for this printer to get installed on the wireless network?

You need to configure the printer itself from the menu.

Easiest would be just reset it to defautls, or just change the network settings to match the new network settings. You could just set it to DHCP, let it get a new IP address, then set that address as manual, unless your router has a range of IP addresses to use for manual IPs.

As mentioned you should be able to change the ip. I suggest you get a laptop or something easy to setup. Get an ethernet cable and set the ip of the lapto to be on the same network as the printer eg 192.168.1.3 so they can talk. Then you should be able to access the printer settings if you were having trouble. I don't think you need a crossover, (please feel free to enlighten me if someone knows), but if things aren't working too well that might be a reason. Hope you get it fixed.
