I use Airdroid a lot and I never used to have this problem. Recently I flashed my phone and then flashed it back to original settings. Now whenever I send sms messages via airdroid, it splits my messages excessively. It always used to split them into two when they were, say 200 characters, but now it will split them 3x or so even if the entire message is only 130 characters or so. Very frustrating. Any idea to get back to the way it was? Thanks.

Actually the message size is right in between the two sizes you listed at 160. You can find the details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_Message_Service under Message Size.
There is a way to stitch multiple messages into one, but I am guessing that something got removed when you were changing the files.

Look for the stock ROM for your phone and try flashing that again, would be tough to know exactly what happened if it does not work after that. You may need to just flash the stock ROM again and bring it in to be checked.
