Having hard trouble deciding upgrade

well first off lets just start off with my setup
CPU: AMD FX-6200
GPU:AMD Radeon HD 6670
RAM:8GB DDR3
Motherboard:M5A97 LE R2.0
PSU:thermaltake tr2 600w

with all the new first person shooters coming out and future games I've been wanting to upgrade my graphics card since it is the weakest part of my system so far :/ but the thing is im not that smart with knowing what is compatible with my setup. I've been looking up some graphics cards and the prices and my highest cost would be most likely around $300 max. if i can get any help to what kind of graphics card would work for my setup that would be really great :) hopefully at max graphics or something if anything is that cheap.

For 300$, you cound get extremely good cards such as the R9 280x, R9 285 or even the R9 290 or GTX970 after rebate.

600W is limit for the R9 290, but if it is a good quality PSU, there shouldn't be any problem.

The best options under $300 are the R9 280X or the GTX 760. I would recommend the 970 GTX, but that would cost you an additional $30-40 from your max price range. Your other options include to wait for the 960 and 960 ti to be released.

That TR2 is low quality (Tier 5), so it would be a good idea for a new PSU.
