I have a WD Black and just moments ago, it disapeared from Windows. I checked my BIOS, not there either. I looked at the SATA cable and it appears to be loose but other than that, nothing. I pushed it in a bit, turned my computer on and still nothing. Just wondering if there is a fix? Or if the drive has just failed.

Solution
Try a new sata cable. I have had these go bad on me, you might also try a new sata port while you are at it and or another sata connector the the HDD. All these things seem simple but i'd rather have you swap out a few wires in case one of them went bad than to start poking around with the drive itself in the windows environment.
