Solution
Yeah! All your components are compatible if that is what you're asking.

If you have the cash to spend, and you're not looking to game on this PC, try having a look at some dedicated workstation GPUs. They are much more robust for video editing, and have very stable drivers.

It'll all work... probably, but you've got a Z87 motherboard which sometimes need bios updates to accept that 4690 CPU. I have a few suggestions:

- Go to a H97 motherboard, newer series motherboard and you don't need the "Z" as you have a locked (non overclockable) CPU
- If you're primary use-case is video editing, it's worth considering the Xeon E3-1231 v3 for $255: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117316
It's basically a 4790 without onboard graphics. In other words, it has hyperthreading which does make a substantial difference for video editing. It's only a little more than the 4690 you've chosen.
- Get a better PSU. Get a better quality, lower output PSU. A 550W is more than enough for that build. With an XFX & Seasonic you can't go wrong.
- There's no need to get an aftermarket cooler unless you're overclocking. So you can save yourself some money there.
