So my computer was fine yesterday. Go to startup today and it loads initial splash screen then goes blank and nothing else loads. The initial splash screen states "press DEL or F2 to enter bios" which I press and nothing else happens screen just goes black. I read some posts on here and disconnected my SSD and HDD and reconnected, couldn't enter bios with/without both connected/disconnected, no change. Also did some reseating on all the connections and no change.
Not sure where to go from here without entering the bios. Ideas?

This is not an answer im afraid, I am having a very similar issue.

Replaced my AsRock 970 etreme 3, it was showing a black screen & no bios on boot, swapped out components to ensure it was the mother board. Everything else seemed to be functioning fine. So I then ordered a AsRock 970M pro3. The problem I am having is I get hung up in bios, cant select anything, nothing. I have removed all unnecessary hardware. Once; through some combination of clearing cmos and no hd connected I was able to boot into the bios.. great! progress. rebooted with my HD now hooked up. Made it to the boot menu and booted to my HD. Booted great.. no problems. Windows ran fine for quite some time, restarted booted me into select boot device, selected my HD again and it booted to windows no problem. Two for two. So im thinking, good to go I must have figured out some combination and it works. I plug in my other two HD's and boot again. Same problem stuck at bios. Cant select or do anything. I tried and tried to replicate what I did before that allowed me to access the bios but to no avail, It would seem any combination of clearing cmos, bootin no hd, booting with hd, moving ram around, re-seating all the connections. I tried all the tricks I could read or find and still the same result. Any thoughts or ideas? I am beginning to feel I was sent a bunk board. Please any and all chime in, all suggestions are welcome. I would love some feed back.
