Fans spin, but not recognized by Windows 8.1. Doesn't show up in Device Manager as display adapter (no other unrecognized devices either, even showing hidden). Doesn't show up in another HW utility either. NVIDIA driver install says no compatible HW found - both with install CD and latest driver download.
Tried different slots, re-seating, different PSU cables, upgraded mobo BIOS. EVGA appears to have run out of suggestions (they just said try it in another computer or another graphics card in this computer), and did an RMA. Same thing with this one, but I can't keep trying the same things and expecting different results.
Hard to believe two would be DOA, but EVGA appears to be out of suggestions.
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC Force - BIOS now F8. 1350 Watt PSU.
Tried all 3 16X PCIE slots. Other kinds of cards work there (SATA).
