Hey guys i recently bought a seagate 4TB hybrid drive to use as my primary hard drive ( i only have 1 internal). I have an Asus M5A97x motherboard which is a UEFI board, and was able to install windows with a UEFI USB drive. I formatted the drive as GPT and installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Windows boots up and runs but i does run slow at times and tends to hang for long periods of time when im trying to install a program. Is this to be expected with a larger drive formatted under GPT? I bought the hybrid drive because i was under the impression that it would boot and run slightly faster than a regular drive. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

The sshd you have is not in fact 7200 rpm. It is 5900. After rebooting a couple of times, the adaptive flash memory will hold the boot files and boot time will get better, but at 5900 rpm.. that's only slightly better than 5400, and not that cLose to 72200 rpm.
