Recently, I decided to replace my amd fx8320 with i7 cpu so I changed the mobo as well. Here is the set up:

mobo: Gigabyte Z97 UD5H
GPU: XFX R9 290X x 2
CPU: i7 4790k
PSU: Corsair AX1200i
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4G

I was using my old RAM but after I found they were not on the support list I bought the new ones. Here are my problems.
1. Each time I turn on the PC, I will get debug code 15 (pre-memory Northbridge initialization is started) until I reboot it for several times. It doesn't work if I reboot the system in windows.

2. When I try to enable crossfire in AMD Catalyst, I get a blue screen. The crossfire worked fine on my old set with FX990 EXTREME3 mobo.

I have no idea how this happens. The BIOS version is F8 and I think the 4790k is ok with that. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks!

Solution
Well, after it drove me mad for three days, I managed to solve the problem by:
1. Clean the CMOS of mobo and choose to boot up with optimal parameters;
2. Disable the APU in BIOS and then in device manager again;
3. Set PCIe as Gen1 in BIOS (have no idea whether it works).
And it works... Interesting. Thank you all!

It ran so fast and I failed to capture that... Now everything is fine with one GPU. But if I try to plug in another one, first I should restart several times to go through the "15" error and then when I log in in windows I can easily get a black screen... By the way, everything is fine if I plug in no extra GPUs and use the gpu of the mobo only.
After hours of work, I notice that if I want to boot smoothly, I should push the CMOS_SW and choose the optimal parameters.
Actually, there are two buttons that I don't quite understand what they are used for. One is the Bios_SW and the other is SB. Do you have any ideas how I should set those buttons? They can either be 1 or 2.
The pc made me frustrated these days and I might not express myself properly... Thanks you guys! I did not expect any answers so late at night.

I tried to boot up yesterday and failed. And then I realized I should back up my data and re-install windows. After that, I formatted the HD. The OS is brand new now.
