Is my Intel Rapid Storage Technology caching on or off?

I recently had to reinstall my system due to severe software failure. Now that I have everything up and running again, something about my RST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology)is bothering me.

In the status section it says:
Acceleration using solid-state drives: Enabled
But when I select my SSD that is suppose to be used for caching, it says:
Cache mode: off

My SATA is set to RAID in the bios.
I don't know if caching is on, or off?

(I tried to upload images, but I was unable to.)

Hey there, SomeUser445!

Is the acceleration mode set to Enhanced or Maximize in Intel® Rapid Storage Technology?
If you've set it to maximized mode, I'd suggest to switch it back to enhanced. Enhanced mode is designed for max security, reducing the possibility of data loss. Whereas, maximized mode is for optimum performance, writing data to the SSD and only periodically transferring it to the hard drive.
However, if you've followed any of these options on how to set up the Intel Smart Response Technology and your SATA is set to RAID, you should be good and caching should be on.

Hope this helps! :)

My mode is set to Enhanced.
My UI also looks rather different from the one in the link, I'm using RST 12.8. I did during the setup of my caching had to choose which drive to enhance, but it never gave me the option to choose the SSD.
