Hi,

I have owned my computer for about a year. I have noticed that the dedicated graphics card should be able to perform better than what it does. Specs for my pc are as follows:

- Dell Inspiron 5520
- Integrated Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD 4000
- Dedicated Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7670
- OS: Windows 7 Professional

When I try to open Catalyst Control Centre, I have a limited amount of options, the only tabs in the advanced mode are:

- Pinned
- Presets
- Desktop Management
- Common Display Tasks
- Information

Someone please help me, I have been trying to figure out this problem for a week now, gone through heaps and heaps of forum posts without any answers.

Solution
Sounds like you uninstalled the graphics drivers but you need to uninstall Catalyst Control Center too. After you have removed both the drivers and the CCC, restart and install the latest drivers. Then you should be good to go.

I've already downloaded this. Iv'e tried to download new driver software and then when I tried to open catalyst control centre it said: Catalyst Control Centre cannot be opened. No settings can be configured. I couldn't fix that problem so I had to restore my pc to about 2 days before this all happened

Restart the PC.
Mash the F8 key repeatedly as it boots up.
You will see a screen giving you the option to boot into safe mode. Like this:

Select Safe Mode and hit enter.
After booting into safe mode, go to the control panel.
Uninstall AMD Catalyst Control Center and/or AMD video card drivers.
Reboot.
Install the new drivers.
Report back.

Tried to open AMD Control Centre, came up with:

No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware.

And it also says the same thing with AMD not being able to be opened.
