Why does COD Advanced Warfare restart My Computer?

I purchased COD Advanced Warfare for the pc. Periodically the game will restart my computer while playing in the middle of a game in both single player and multiplayer. It does not do it on the menu or during the cut scenes. Only during game play. I experienced the same problem with COD Ghosts, but gave up on that game because I did not enjoy it very much. ALL of my other games run flawlessly, including BF4 at max settings and Metro Last Light at high settings.

At first I thought it was the power supply which was running the 3.3v at 2.8 at times, so I changed it to a Super Flower Leadex Gold 750w (80+ Gold) unit and the 3.3v runs fine now. I am wondering if it is a ram issue or the processor or maybe the video card.

I have an AMD 8350 a noctura nh-d14. The temp on the processor is around 40 degrees at load. The processor is not overclocked and running at 4.0ghz.

The memory is 2x 4gb Kingston Hyper x Genesis Blue 1600 1.65v. I run the ram at 1333 speed and on auto settings for the timing I ran memtest86 and left it overnight and it came back with no errors. I contacted Kingston yesterday and the service person told me that running the ram at 1333 speed on auto will result in mb using 1.5v at 11,11,11 timing and should provide stable performance. However, the game still restarts the computer.

My video card is a MSI GTX 670 2gb and running at factory clock speed. I updated the drivers to the latest version. I also took the card out and thoroughly cleaned it with compressed air. Again, the game will periodic restart the computer.

I am wondering if you have any suggestions of what to do? Do you have any stress tests to recommend? I ran Furmark for an hour and nothing happened. Same with Prime95.

Thanks

. I understand that just because a PSU is gold rated does not make it good. The psu I purchased is listed as a tier one in the link you provided. However, I decided to purchase the psu based on these reviews.

Overall, it looked like a great unit and the price fairly decent.

I will look for the occt program and run it. How long should i stress test the psu and cpu?

I'm having the same problem on my 660 TI, i have ran the PSU and CPU Test everything is fine with my hardware but the computer will shutdown and restart out of nowhere. The game runs perfect before that.
