What is the meaning of the error code 10( cannot start the device(sohousb 2.5 mobile disk) when tried to trouble shoot and cor

I have a external disk sohousb 2.5 mobile disk. I deleted some files and then reconnected to computer it was not shown in my computer. tried in other laptops and tried to isolate the problems like cable issue etc. The power indication is ok. Earlier it did not require external power too. the error code reported is 10.

Please suggest a way to make it recognized and working well. Thank you

Hey jamalhassan. Did the same thing happened when you tried it with the other laptops? Open up Disk Management, here's a link with instructions how to do that - http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1284/ and see if the drive is detected there and what it show about the partitions. I would also recommend that you download the manufacturer's diagnostic tool and run the tests if it recognizes the external drive.
