Can i plug my 4 pin cpu power cable to the 8 pin motherboard

Hi i have decided to by a new motherboard which is AsRock H77M,and i realized that on the pictures that the motherboard have a 8 Pin CPU power connector,here LOOK:

and i WISH to know from you guys one thing,my PSU hase normal standard 4 pin conetor:

so can i plug my 4 pin CPU connector to the 8 pin MOBO conector,is this possible ,or it hase to be a 8 pin,or it can be pluged
with the 4 pin connector on one side left or right ,so i reallyyyyy need this answer .thanks a lot
it considers 2 cpus a i3 and i5 not very highly strong powered cpus...Thanks i need really the answer i pick the solution immidiatley if u help me ...

Its fine to run on 4 pin.

Its even in manual, it tells you what 4 pin holes to use.

4pin generally is on older PSU's. Or lower than 500W nowadays.

this one H77M,so my point is can i plug it with my 4 Pin CPU connector from my PSU,the point is that i don 't have a 8 pin connector for CPU powering,so is it goin to be problem,is it possible the motherboard not starting or something,i will plug this mother board on a i3 - 3220 cpu or i5-3570k ,so is it goin to make problem ,i really ,really want to know if it's goin to work.Please help mecheck the picture of mu mobo..and find me answer is this possible on that motherboard plzzz
