I assembled a pc with msi A78M-E35 motherboard and an amd a8 6600k. When connecting the front panel pins I saw that my front panel has 9 pins covering all the 9 available pins on the motherboard. But the manual says that the 9th pin on the motherboard is empty and does not need connection. Most of the instructions on the Internet are for front panels with 8 pins. My front panel has 2 regular leds 1 red led and 2 switches for power and reset how do I connect it?

You need to plug in: Hard drive led, power led, power button and reset button. Read in the manual to find what goes where
