Intel is a better buy, here's why:

-Is definately more powerful gaming wise.

-Eats up a lot less power.

-Doesn't require water cooling.

-Doesn't require 1kW PSU.

-Doesn't require $160 MoBo.

FX 9 is just OCed FX 8 which runs VERY hot, has LOTS of power requirements, is unstable upon OCing, still looses to an i5 in gaming. Look up some real benchmarks from sites like Tom's, Anandtech, Techpowerup, Guru3D, etc.
