I have 64 bit windows 7 Home Premium.

This is a problem, because I do not know if I have 8192mb or 3870mb.

I am pretty sure I have 8192mb because I just another 4gb about 7 months ago. Only today, I decided to see how much ram I have from the Windows Task Manager in the performance tab and it says a total of 3870mb.

What is the problem?

Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog, type msconfig, and click/tap on OK.

2. If prompted by UAC, then click/tap on Yes.

3. Under the Boot tab in System Configuration, click/tap on the Advanced options button.

4. Uncheck "Maximum Memory"

5. Restart
